Six-axle gondola model 33-9901 (dump car), designed for transportation from quarries on main and industrial railway tracks with a gauge of 1520 mm. of overburden rocks, ore and other loose and lumpy cargo, as well as mechanized unloading of them on dumps or crushing plants of open-pit mining.

The gondola has an all-metal body with a volume of 50 m3, capable of withstanding a load of up to 105 tons. The car is equipped with two six-axle bogies model 18-9043. The dimensions of the car according to GOST 9238 - 1-T. Unlike other freight cars, the dump car has a body that tilts when unloading cargo, and sides that fold back when the body tilts. The body tilt is provided by pneumatic cylinders, which are hingedly suspended on the brackets of the lower frame of the car. Compressed air is supplied by a pipeline from the locomotive compressor. Pressure adjustment is carried out by a remote control system. After unloading, the body is set in its original position under the action of its own weight or forcibly (by landing pneumatic cylinders).
